Faced with increasing pressure for decarbonization, Comerc Energia and DEEP ESG created the Decarbonization Journey project, which automates emissions measurement and accelerates the offering of decarbonization solutions for Brazilian companies of all sizes and different levels of sustainability maturity.

Methodology
The project was implemented using the Carbono IA digital solution, which automates carbon inventories from accounting data, following the GHG Protocol standard for calculating GHG emissions. The process includes sending a standard tax file and automatically generating the inventory, which provides data intelligence for implementing the best decarbonization solutions to reduce the carbon footprint.

Results
Since 2023, the milestone of 500 GHG inventories has been reached, equivalent to 34% of the country's public inventories in the same period. The solution reduced the average inventory preparation time from months to approximately 30 days. The project accelerated the adoption of solutions such as renewable energy and energy efficiency. Furthermore, it contributed to DEEP ESG attracting R$22 million in investments and receiving the National Innovation Award, consolidating its position as a benchmark in impact measurement in Latin America.
