CEBDS Regulated Market RADAR | Nº 9 | NOVEMBER 2024

Bill 182/2024, approved by the Federal Senate last week, was officially received by the Chamber of Deputies. Deputy Aliel Machado (PV/PR) returned to the position of rapporteur of the matter, which is being processed under an urgent regime and may be deliberated directly by the Plenary of the house.

The project is already on the agenda of the deliberative sessions of the Chamber of Deputies scheduled for this week and could be approved today.

The agreement signed between the legislative houses, the federal government and representatives of subnational governments, foresees that the text approved by the Senate will be approved by the Chamber without substantive changes.

It is the prerogative of the Chamber of Deputies, however, to finally accept or reject any changes made to the text by the Senate.
